December 1st Update
We stayed here after Thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing! If you can, definitely get the ocean view—it's worth every bit of the small upgrade. The rooms and the entire facility are spotless, comfortable, and so relaxing. The shrimp and grits are to die for… easily Gwen’s favorite meal!
The beach is beautiful, and the hotel has this cozy charm—welcoming without feeling oversized or chaotic. We visited in the off season, and it was wonderfully peaceful with very few children around.
It’s only about 35 minutes from our home, and with most island roads being 35 mph, the drive itself felt simple and calm. Highly recommend this hotel for our guests.
